The waitlist

When you join the waitlist, we keep your email, the language of the page, the site or campaign that brought you (if any), your country (worked out from your connection, without keeping your IP address) and the dates you signed up, confirmed and got beta access, then how many times you downloaded Dérush and when you last did. They're used for one thing only: telling you when your spot is ready and giving you Dérush.

We rely on your consent: you give it by clicking the confirmation link, and you can withdraw it anytime with the unsubscribe link in every email, which deletes your address straight away.

An unconfirmed sign-up is deleted after 7 days. A confirmed one is kept until you unsubscribe, or until we delete it.

Audience measurement

To know how many people visit the site and where they come from, each page view records: the page, the site you came from, the campaign (utm_source), your country and your type of device (phone or computer). To count visitors without cookies, we compute a fingerprint of your IP address and browser with a key drawn at random each day and deleted the next: we can't recognize you from one day to the next, and your IP address is never stored.

We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding the site's audience. No cookie is set and nothing is stored in your browser.

Individual page views are kept for 90 days; after that, only daily totals remain.

Bot protection

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks you're not a bot without making you solve a puzzle. To do so, Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser under its own privacy policy.

Dérush, the Mac app and the iPhone app

Your footage, your library and your Dérush account stay on your Mac. When you link the app to your beta spot, derush.ai keeps: an id for your Mac, its name, when it was linked and last seen, and how many AI analyses it ran each day with the amount of text and images processed (to limit and, later, bill that use).

To understand your videos, your Mac sends Google's AI (Gemini) reduced extracts (low-resolution pictures, sound, text), through derush.ai with Loaddr's account. derush.ai doesn't keep those extracts; Google processes them to answer and deletes them under the terms of its paid API, which exclude using them to train its models.

So your iPhone can reach your Mac from anywhere, derush.ai creates a Cloudflare tunnel just for your Mac; what goes through it travels straight from your iPhone to your Mac. For notifications, your Mac passes your iPhone's notification token to Apple through derush.ai, which doesn't keep it.

We rely on providing the service you ask for by linking the app. Link data is deleted when your beta spot is removed or when you ask; usage counts are kept 3 years for billing.

Who else processes this data

Cloudflare (site hosting, database, bot protection, the tunnels to your Mac), Resend (sending emails), Google (the Gemini AI, for the app's analyses) and Apple (the iPhone app's notifications). These companies are based in the United States; transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by writing to bonjour@derush.ai. You can also contact Cyprus's Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (dataprotection.gov.cy) or the authority in your country.
